One Kings Lane Tray Chic Campaign Part 2

July 10, 2015 by Michelle 7 Comments

Seasonal Flower Centerpiece Using Old Bottles and Trays

Being part of One Kings Lane Tray Chic campaign inspired me to incorporate some of the ideas I came up with in Part 1 to do a little decorating of my own! 🙂

Seasonal Flower Centerpiece Using Old Bottles and Trays

I love to grow annual flowers in the summer so I will have an abundance of flowers for bouquets. It’s always fun coming up with new ways to display them!

I started by using a couple of wood trays I painted using chalk paint and antiquing techniques to get an aged look.

Then I added some of my favorite pieces from my antique bottle collection and filled them with water.

Finally, I topped each bottle off with a single flower!

When I was all done, I used the trays as a centerpiece for my dining room table.

I think the finished product makes a stunning summer centerpiece if I do say so myself! 🙂

Maybe that’s why I got so picture-happy, but I just couldn’t help myself!

I just wish I had more bottles so I could fill the trays up more!

Guess I’m going to have to swing by One Kings Lane and check out their antique bottles!

While I’m there, I think I’ll stock up on a few more trays as well!

I hope this gave you a ton of inspiration to try some decorating with trays yourself! 🙂

See you next time!

I love using trays to decorate a table. So pretty and easy to work with. Remove the tray to dust, Put the tray back! Pinned this TWICE!
