2018 Spring Home Tour and Blog Hop

2018 Spring Home Tour and Blog Hop-46

Hey guys! Welcome to the Hop Into Spring blog hop! I am so excited to be part this hop hosted by Amber over at Follow The Yellow Brick Home. I’m joining her and eight other talented bloggers sharing our homes all decorated up for spring! You’ll find the complete schedule at the end of my post with links to all the other home tours, so you can join us as we hop into spring!

10 Beautiful Spring Home Tours Spring Decor

For this hop I am sharing my spring home tour for 2018, which includes our dining room, our corner hutch in our family room, our living room, and our entryway.

Dining Room

2018 Spring Home Tour and Blog Hop-1

My dining room is currently my favorite room in our home. Most of the reason why it’s my favorite is the fact that it is the one room I consider completely “finished” as far as it and everything inside it has been painted or made over in some way.

I love my open hutch! It’s always fun to decorate for the changing seasons!

In the corner of our dining room I have a wine bar that used to be my late father’s gun reloading cabinet. I completely made it over and now it is a treasured piece in our home.

Do you like the bird nests and eggs picture? It’s a free printable from The Graphics Fairy.

I kept my dining room table centerpiece simple this year by decorating a couple of terra cotta pots with artificial flowers and putting them on my vintage reproduction scale. I used 4″ artificial nests as flower frogs to hold the artificial flowers in place.

Corner Hutch

This is our corner hutch in our family room. I already had it decorated for early spring, but I added a few touches to make it even more springy!

My cousin who lives across the street planted mustard greens in one of her fields. She is always so kind and let me cut some of the flowers so I could have this beautiful arrangement!

Living Room

Our living room (or front room as I usually call it) is right across from our entryway. This is my “relaxing” room where I like to hang out with a good book or crochet project.

Aren’t these spring themed tags the cutest? They’re free printables from Lilac & Lavender. I printed up several sets of them and mixed them in with my spring decor all over my house!

Oh my goodness, there are so many sweet spots in your home! I love the way you’ve layered little things on top of one another for more impact. I also love the frames hanging together. There’s a lot to look at and learn from here for me…I’m not the queen of layering and that’s something I’d like to get better at.

Pinning and sharing all of this loveliness. 🙂

Thanks so much Stacey! Your home is gorgeous too – I’m so happy we were able to do this blog hop together! 🙂 I’m still working on the whole layering thing too – I’m getting better at it but feel like I still have a long way to go.

Thanks so much Linda! I got them at different flea markets and have been itching to use them in my decor. I loved your home tour too – it is so fresh and bright for spring, and that rabbit head bust is to die for! 🙂

Michelle I too have been embracing white lately. All the furniture is so pretty and the colors really let all of your items pop. We can really admire all of your farmhouse beauties because of the neutral pallete.

Thanks so much Mary! 🙂 I’m finding that more and more I’m loving pops of color on neutral “backgrounds” like neutral furniture and walls… it makes it so much easier to change things out with the seasons or just when I get bored 🙂

Loved your tour! I saw so many things in your house: old cameras, stone wear, lamb cake molds, bird prints, old wooden boxes and more that my wife and I have around our home. It is snowing like heck in PA and I think we will be going some spring decorating today. Thanks for the inspiration!

You’re very welcome Joe! We’ve had heavy rains all week. We need the rain but it certainly doesn’t feel like spring!
