The Farmhouse Friday Link Party #79

Welcome to The Farmhouse Friday Link Party #79!

Hey guys! How was your week?

Last week Farmhouse Friday had the most linkups to date! If you’re a regular linker upper here, thank you so much for making this party so special! If you’re a newbie here, welcome and thanks so much for joining us!

The painting saga to repaint our blue-gray walls to gray-gray walls continues here this week. We learned some hard lessons about choosing the right color of gray paint with our 21 foot walls:

The old color we’re painting over is Pelican Gray by Benjamin Moore. Don’t get me wrong – it’s a very nice color. If it wasn’t for the blog, we wouldn’t be repainting. The blue-gray wall color just didn’t work in photos I took for the blog because more times than not the wall color would go bright baby blue in the photos. The new color is Agreeable Gray by Sherwin-Williams. It’s a much warmer gray but it isn’t quite a greige (gray-beige) color.

In other goings-on this week, I shared my colorful farmhouse fall porch on the blog:

This was an easy one to put together because I kept it simple by only using pumpkins and mums. It’s very different color-wise than the neutral farmhouse fall porch I shared the week before:

Which porch do you like best – the neutral or colorful one? Obviously I like both 😉

This week’s features:

Halloween is just around the corner, so this week’s features are Halloween themed!

I adore this lacy stenciled cobweb Lora created on her vintage mirror! It’s perfect for a farmhouse style Halloween.

Tiffany shares detailed instructions on how to make this jaw-dropping Halloween scarecrow which is truly a giant (he’s around 12 feet tall!).

The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesn’t fit into that description, please don’t link it up. Please no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.

I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! Comments are like Skittles to bloggers – we love them and we can’t get enough of them! If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.

By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party! You will also get a chance for your post to be shared on my Facebook group DIY Farmhouse Style, which at this writing has over 325+ thousand members.

By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with an explicit link back to your original source.

An InLinkz Link-up

Thanks so much for stopping by The Farmhouse Friday Link Party! I hope you have a wonderful week and I’ll see you back here next Friday!

Thank you Michelle for your 79th Farmhouse Friday. Big paint job but worth the effort for a good background.

I like the new paint color, Michelle. We’re looking at doing the same and you’re right, it is so hard finding the right warm grey. Great Halloween features this week! Thanks for hosting and happy painting 🙂

Hi Michelle, I also have some agreeable gray in our house and was thinking about pulling it throughout the hallways. DO you have more pics of the process? Would love to see!!!! Christine
