Ready or not, here comes Christmas! – The Farmhouse Friday Link Party Week 83

Welcome to The Farmhouse Friday Link Party!

Hey friends! How was your week?

So this week was one of my busiest weeks ever for the blog. I have three blog hops going live this week. For someone who’s lucky to get one post a week posted, that’s a lot!

Thanksgiving Tablescape Inspiration

The first blog hop is Gather ‘Round The Table hosted by Amber at Follow The Yellow Brick Home. I joined 20 uber-talented bloggers who shared an eclectic but beautiful mix of Thanksgiving tablescape inspiration!

The second blog hop is the Thrifty Style Team, where once a month I join some more uber-talented bloggers to share thrifty decor projects that won’t break the bank!

This month I shared my Chandelier Makeover with Chalk Spray Paint. I have to be honest – I’m not sure I really like how it turned out. I think I distressed it a little too much. What do you think? I plan on repainting it this weekend with a light cream color instead of the white and distressing it lightly (if at all). If it turns out, I’ll update my blog post with the new look!

I join in tomorrow for the third blog hop – the Thanksgiving Tablescape Blog Hop hosted by Chloe at Celebrate & Decorate. My post for this doesn’t go live until tomorrow, so until then you can visit the hop through Chloe’s blog.

Yes, that’s two Thanksgiving tablescape hops in one week! All kinds of great tablescape inspiration for your Turkey Day! And since this is my second tablescape I’m sharing this week, I the one I’m sharing tomorrow is totally different than the one I shared on Tuesday.

I’m also waaaaaaay behind when it comes to decorating for Christmas. Most bloggers I know had their homes decorated for Christmas by November 1st. Since we’re hosting Thanksgiving, I’ll be lucky if I get everything up by the first of December. I’m going to try to at least get my living room done before Thanksgiving.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, there will not be a link party next week so everyone can enjoy Thanksgiving with their family and friends (and I take at least one thing off my plate for next week!). The party will return the following week.

This week’s features:

This week’s features are Christmas themed from bloggers who have their act together way more than I do!

Penny shares her stunning Christmas tree she put up in her kitchen. I can’t wait to see the other trees she puts up this season!

How To Make Rustic Wood Christmas Signs by The Interior Frugalista

The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesn’t fit into that description, please don’t link it up. Please no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.

I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! Comments are like Skittles to bloggers – we love them and we can’t get enough of them! If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.

By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party! You will also get a chance for your post to be shared on my Facebook group DIY Farmhouse Style, which at this writing has over 326+ thousand members.

By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with an explicit link back to your original source.

An InLinkz Link-up

Thanks so much for stopping by The Farmhouse Friday Link Party! I hope you have a wonderful week and I’ll see you back here the week after next Friday!

3 hops in 1 week? You’re killing me! You need to step away from the computer this weekend FOR SURE! I think your chandy looks awesome; I’d leave it as is…and put some Christmas greens on it;) Thanks for faithfully hosting on this busy week, Michelle!

I love that chandelier. It’s beautiful and unique and to change it up for seasons you can add little crystals or jingle bells for Christmas. So sweet.
