Farmhouse Friday 125

Hey friends! I hope you had a wonderful week!

I decided to expand the scope of Farmhouse Friday to include recipes and anything else that is related to country / farmhouse living.

Why the change? A couple of reasons:

First, every once in a while someone would mistakenly link up a recipe post. It always bugged me to have to delete it because it didn’t fit into the party’s scope. When you think about it, what is more country / farmhouse than home cooked meals made from scratch?

Second, I’m thinking about expanding the blog’s scope to again include recipes and anything else that is related to country / farmhouse living. Country living is so much more than decor, and I’d like to share all the other things farm-related goings on here, whether it be recipes, gardening, pets, farm critters, etc. I haven’t decided if I’m going to expand the focus yet; and if I do, farmhouse style decor will still be the main focus. I want to see how expanding the focus of Farmhouse Friday goes over and I’ll go from there.

In other goings on here this week, I decorated my front porch for Fall!

If you look closely, you can see I have amber colored Mason jars in the mix. I put solar powered fairy lights inside the Mason jars which turn on at dusk and light up the porch in the evenings. You can learn more about how to use amber colored Mason jars in your Fall decor here and you can see more photos of my Fall front porch here.

This Week’s Features:

Beautiful Fall Outdoor Displays in Vermont by Sweet Pea

Paula shares some beautiful photos she took of Fall outdoor displays while on vacation with her hubby in Vermont. I’ve always wanted to travel back east in the Fall to see all the leaves turning, and after seeing Paula’s photos I want to do it even more!

Link Party Rules:

The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, crafts, recipes, travel and anything else that relates to country / farmhouse living. You do not have to live out in the country or in a farmhouse to link up.

I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across my social media. If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.

By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Arg! I can’t believe I missed the party! Great features and link ups this week. Here’s my Halloween tablescape you might enjoy, I don’t think I linked up last week either.https://followtheyellowbrickhome.com/a-vintage-inspired-happy-halloween-tablescape/

I have been preoccupied with the one room challenge, and we had a huge yard sale, AND I finally got that craft room tackled, AND I got the entire house organized in time for the holidays! Now I can relax (yeah right!)

    Anyway, thanks for hosting!

LOL Amber you’ve been one busy lady! I’ve been tying up some odds and ends here too before the holidays. I adore your Halloween tablescape – thanks so much for sharing it with us! I hope you’re having a great week!
