Farmhouse Friday 179

Hey there! I hope you had a safe, healthy and happy week!

It was almost noon today when I realized I had forgot to write an intro when I set up the party for this week. What can I say – it’s been one of those weeks! My mind has been elsewhere most of the week with the election and everything else that has been going on in the world these days.

I also cared for two of our senior kitties who got sick (they’re okay now) which included some unscheduled trips to our regular vet as well as a specialist that is almost an hour away from us. I did manage to get some projects done for the blog but didn’t have time to post them, so be prepared to see a lot of projects here next week!

This Week’s Features:

Festive Embroidery Hoop Sweater Wreath

So today I'm sharing a step by step tutorial on How to Build a Wood Christmas Tree using Shiplap boards. This is an easy project to create a unique farmhouse style tree. Learn how to age your shiplap to have the appearance of reclaimed wood.

Link Party Rules:

Link up your DIY projects, decor inspiration, and crafts that are farmhouse style. You don’t have to live in a farmhouse or have farmhouse be the main decor theme in your home in order to link up. I love seeing farmhouse mixed in with other styles such as boho! No food or recipe posts please. I’m super flexible when it comes to defining “farmhouse” so if you are unsure of whether your post will fit in the party theme, go ahead and post it and if I feel it doesn’t fit, it will be deleted – no hard feelings! 🙂 It doesn’t matter how old your posts are, but please link up your posts only once.

I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I appreciate it! I also don’t require you to visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across my social media. If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.

By linking up to this party, you permit me to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Oh my goodness, I love Rachel’s shiplap tree! Happy November, Michelle, and thank you so much for the winter wreath feature! xo Waiting with bated breath here in Canada for your election results (fingers crossed).

You’re very welcome for the feature Marie! The election is over now, but I think it’s going to be some time before our country to settle down and quits fighting amongst ourselves. Other countries must think that Americans are complete idiots and I can’t say I blame them! I get so tired of all the politics and other negative bs on the internet and social media to the point that I think about quitting blogging just so I don’t have to be exposed to it on a day in and day out basis. Okay – I’ll get off my soap box now 🙂 I hope you are having a wonderful week!
