Washcloth And Soap Saver Set Free Crochet Patterns

Hello Friends!

It’s that time of year to start thinking about last-minute gifts! This Washcloth & Soap Saver Set Crochet Pattern works up quickly and is sure to please. Work them up in holiday colors for extra fun!

As you will notice, these are two separate patterns that I’ve posted before. I decided to put them together as a new post because together they make a great gift! I don’t know who wouldn’t love getting these as a gift – I know I would! 🙂

These patterns also use cotton yarn. If you’ve been reading me for a while, you know that I have a TON of cotton yarn I “inherited” that I want to use up, so any patterns I can find or make that call for cotton yarn always make me VERY happy!

I love the fact you are left handed! I’m confused about the foundation chain with sc on both sides. Could you help me?

      Hi Joell!

Think about it like this- make the foundation chain, then turn and sc like you were going to make a small washcloth. When you get to the end, instead of turning, work another sc row on the opposite site of the sc row you just finished.

Does that help? Let me know if it doesn’t! 🙂

Thanks for sharing a wonderful pattern. I also have a stash I’d like to see disappear so I’m glad I found your soapsaver directions. I love the fact that it’s such a portable project too……I even blogged about it and linked to your site! Happy holidays!

[…]    And I also am using up my extra cotton yarn to make soap saver bags. They are so useful and pretty at the same time. All I need to get is some soap bars suitable for gift giving and I have a nice homemade gift. They make wonderful hostess gifts too. I found the pattern on Pinterest of course. It’s from ‘The Painted Hinge’ and here’s the link: http://www.thepaintedhinge.com/2013/11/20/washcloth-and-soap-saver-set-free-crochet-patterns/ […]
