Hey guys! How was your week? Mine was considerably better than last week! 🙂

My cat with the injection-site sarcoma had the mass removed from her leg today. Injection-site sarcoma is a rare type of cancer in cats that happens when they have an inflammatory reaction to a vaccine injection. Surgery went well and she is doing great beyond still being a little doped up. 🙂

The vet sent the mass in to confirm the diagnosis and to see if they were able to get all of the cancerous mass out, if it is indeed cancer. In the meantime, we are considering alternative treatments beyond radiation and chemotherapy.
