Hey guys! Happy Summer Solstice! Can you believe it’s the longest day of the year already? This year is flying by way too fast!

This week has been busy one for me – full of appointments, errands, and getting the last of my vegetable seeds planted before the heat hits this weekend. It’s always nice to get stuff done, but it didn’t leave me any time to post anything on the blog. However, I do have some exciting stuff coming up next week including a furniture makeover and a Patriotic Porches blog hop, so stay tuned! 🙂

I am in love with this chair makeover using paint, upholstery and transfers by Artsy VaVa. They are simply stunning!

These garden markers made out of concrete by Adirondack Girl at Heart are so neat! I love how she added concrete dye to make terracotta colored marker bricks!

Farmhouse style pillows are all the rage now, but getting them to look nice on a sofa can be tricky. Country Road 407 takes the guesswork out of it with how to style your sofa pillows.
