Welcome to Farmhouse Friday!
Hey friends! How was your week?
I took a little impromptu time off from the blog this week to work on getting my vegetable garden cleaned up and started. I usually start veggies in mid-April, but the weather here has been so unseasonably cool I didn’t dare. Last weekend was looking like it was going to finally get and stay warm, so I was like “Hey – let’s start planting!” and bought some tomato and pepper plants. But then we got hit with a rainstorm this week with the highs in the mid-60’s, which is just plain crazy for this time of year.
This is our side yard with a few of our raised vegetable beds I managed to get cleaned up before the weather turned. The plants in the beds farthest away are sunflowers that volunteered from last year (they’re not blooming quite yet). One good thing about are unseasonably cold and wet weather is our geraniums and other spring flowers are big and gorgeous this year!
This Week’s Features:
Karin enlists the help of her hubby and son-in-law in creating this gorgeous planked table top that they put right over the old table. How easy (and genius) is that?
I can never get enough of projects using stuff from the dollar stores! Amber put together this lovely succulent hanging basket using supplies from Dollar Tree as a Mother’s Day gift for her mom.
Lora created this amazing flower mosaic art for a mosaic challenge. It’s so pretty and perfect for spring!
Penny takes she shedding to the next level with her gorgeous shed all decked out for spring!
