Stop it, Mother Nature – yamakin’ me lazy! – Farmhouse Friday 107

Welcome to Farmhouse Friday!

TGIF and happy start to the Memorial Day weekend to our friends who live the US!

My impromptu time off from the blog has extended into this week, mostly due from the unseasonably crappy weather we’ve had here. It’s been nothing but cloudy, cold and rainy here all week, and we even got HAIL in our area.

You read that right. Hail. In the California Central Valley. In frigging May.

Not only does the cloudy weather make taking indoor pictures for blog posts a nightmare, it totally zaps what little energy I normally have these days (perimenopause is SO much fun 🙄). My body is like “This is napping weather. You should be napping. Why aren’t you napping?”

Anyways, next week we’re supposed to have sun and closer to normal temps for this time of year, so hopefully I’ll be more motivated to do more than harp on the bad weather. Until then, enjoy these features and linkups from my blogger buddies who have their shit together way more than I do and actually did stuff this week 🙂

This Week’s Features:

DIY Board and Batten in the Entryway by Karin’s Kottage

It’s amazing what a little board and batten can do! Check out Karin’s detailed board and batten DIY and you’ll have your home all battened up in no time!

Decluttering the Linen Closet by Penny’s Vintage Home

Never has decluttering looked so good! If you love pictures of gorgeous linens, you don’t want to miss this post!

Spring Greenery, Terracotta Pots and a Repurposed Card Catalog by Dabbling and Decorating

Ann styled her repurposed card catalog so pretty for spring! And you don’t want to miss the pictures of the rest of her sunroom!

Office Chair Farmhouse Ruffled Bolster Pillow

Office Chair Bolster Pillow For Us Short-Statured Folks! by The Interior Frugalista

Whether you’re short-statured or not, this office chair bolster pillow Marie whipped up is pure awesomeness! This would make a great backing for any chair!

The party rules are super simple! Link up your favorite DIY projects, decor projects, and crafts that are farmhouse style. If it doesn’t fit into that description, please don’t link it up. Please, no food/recipe posts. You can link up your new and old posts alike as long as you only link them up here once.

I don’t require you to link back to this party, but if you do, I would sure appreciate it! I also don’t require you visit or comment on other blogger’s linkups, but it’s always a nice way to share the bloggy love! Comments are like Skittles to bloggers – we love them and we can’t get enough of them! By linking up, you will get a chance to be featured here at next week’s party and across my social media. If you pin anything from the party, please pin it from the original source.

By linking up to this party, you agree to give me permission to share your posts and pictures via social media and as features, roundups, etc. with a link back to your post or a link back to this party on the week your post was featured.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Thank you so much for featuring my chair pillow but girl, I definitely don’t have my shit together! LOL Truth is I’ve been cooped up indoors for the last nine months here in the great white north so I kept myself busy. Now that we’re finally getting some semi-Spring like temperatures, my only motivation will be my Adirondack chair and a stack of books! Have a great Memorial Day weekend, Michelle 🙂

You’re very welcome Marie! I’m happy to hear the weather is getting warm where you are for Memorial Day weekend – it’s actually going to get COLDER here. But next week is supposed to be in the high 80’s so you can bet I am so looking forward to that! You have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend too!

I so hear ya, Michelle! “Rain, rain, go away” here too. And we’ve got a deck to finish, trim to paint and gardens to get in order before a grad party! I’m stressing out! This weekend looks decent, so this butt’s getting off the couch and gonna be sore by the end of the long weekend! I wish sunshine for you! Thanks for hosting, as always!

Oh I feel your pain Lora – getting our place ready for parties is one of my biggest stressors! I hope the weather holds up for you and have a wonderful (and productive!) Memorial Day weekend!

I know how you feel Michelle…when it is dark, cloudy, chilly and gloomy during the spring and summer I am not motivated to do anything! I hope you get some spring or summer temperatures and sunshine soon.

    Thanks for hosting!
