Hello dear friends! I hope you all had a nice week!
I’m hoping this will be the last week of Farmhouse Friday being the only post for the week 🙂 My mother-in-law’s rosary and funeral was held last week in order to accommodate relatives that were visiting from out-of-state for Thanksgiving. Now that things are back to relatively normal I hope to get some projects done and up on the blog next week. I truly appreciate your continued understanding and patience with me.
At the start of the year I promised myself I wouldn’t stress out over the blog so much and I would strive to put quality over quantity when it came to blog posts. If this situation happened last year, I would be beside myself in stress trying to “catch up” by doing blog posts that are not my best work in order to post some “fillers” until I got the stuff I really wanted to post finished. I’ve come to realize that stressing about projects this time of year accomplishes a whole lot of nothing except guaranteeing that I don’t enjoy the holidays. I’ve also realized that when life keeps throwing curve balls at me where I can’t get things done like I wanted to, it’s best for me to throw in the towel and lean into it by taking a break.
How do you deal with stress during the holidays?
This Week’s Features:
Lora has a knack for seeing repuposing potential in just about anything! Here she takes a small parts organizer and transforms it into the perfect Advent calendar! She even includes the numbers she created for each day as a free printable!
Marie is knocking the Winter / Christmas DIYs out of the park this year! This week she shared how to make this gorgeous Winter wreath using a embroidery hoop and a sweater.
Christina combined rustic and boho touches to create this gorgeous Christmas mantel. I just adore those lettered knitted Christmas stockings!
Penny enjoys a cup of coffee every morning in the cozy Christmas corner she created in her sun room. Wouldn’t you love to join her? I sure would!
