Embrace Your Style 160

Hey guys! I hope you had a happy and healthy week!

Covid-19 update: I’m happy to report that Dan and I are now symptom-free and feeling much better this week. We both took it easy this week to give us the best chance of recovery. As long as our symptoms don’t return, we will be out of quarantine next week. Dan is planning to return to work on Monday and I hope to get back to business as usual with the blog. Thank you so much for being patient with me during this time ❤️

We were very lucky that our symptoms were relatively mild and we were able to recover quickly. There are people who became much more ill and have been struggling with the after effects of it for weeks or even months. Some of the “after symptoms” of the virus that some people have are pretty scary, especially with how little we know about it and how it can affect our health over the long run. My heart goes out to them and I hope that they are able to make a full recovery.

This Week’s Features:

With 4th of July just around the corner, I decided to do a patriotic theme for the features this week.

Love this week’s theme. Thank you for including my patriotic framed art in the features. I am sorry you had to go through such a health crisis. I believe I may have contracted COVID–many symptoms and it’s been 7 weeks of just one thing after another. I had a negative COVID test on May 15 but will do the antibodies test to be sure in a couple weeks. At this point, I hope I had it because it’d explain a lot of things the doctors can’t figure out with my shortness of breath for 2 months. I’ve done so many heart/lung tests, CT, ECHO…and they have all come back normal. A virus is the only thing I can think of.

You’re very welcome for the feature! I’m so sorry to hear that you’re struggling with health issues too! I hope the doctors can figure out what’s going on soon so they can help you. It’s so scary with the COVID stuff right now because no one is sure what’s going on. Please keep us posted!

I’m SO glad your symptoms have all but vanished, Michelle. My brother just came back positive yesterday, and all he has is not taste/smell. He feels normal otherwise. We are hoping the same easy-time-of-it for him. In the grand scheme of things, I believe many people have had the virus, and aren’t hospitalized. My heart goes out to those that have been, that’s for sure!
Thank you for the feature this week! Have a wonderful one!

You’re very welcome for the feature Julie! 🙂 Some of the COVID symptoms are so strange – my hubs had the no taste/smell thing too. I hope your brother doesn’t develop any more symptoms and recovers quickly!

Glad to hear you’ve both recovered, and so quickly! Love the patriotic theme for your features this week, Michelle, 🙁 that Canadian patriotic ideas didn’t make the cut.
