How To Decorate With Berry Baskets

If you’re coming over from Common Ground, welcome!

Today I am bringing you a couple of simple ideas on how to use berry baskets in your decor.

How To Use Berry Baskets in Your Decor

My first idea is a simple way to display live flowers in a berry basket. Of course you can simply use potted flowers, but I decided to use flower cuttings because I have them growing in my garden. It saved me a trip to the store, not to mention they are free.

I used a small bowl that would fit into the berry basket. I cut some floral foam to fit in the bowl, soaked it in water, put it in the bowl and added the flowers (mums).

I then put everything into the basket and covered the bowl with Spanish moss.

I made another one and then placed them on my dining room table as a centerpiece. I used wire berry baskets as well to add some texture.

Berry baskets make great shelf fillers! I used berry and bushel baskets to fill the top shelf of the corner display in my dining room.

Hi Michelle, this is just the cutest centerpiece. I love how you’ve been using this long wooden piece for your table decor. I love berry baskets and your metal ones are new to me. Your tall wall of shelves is so unique and filled with such fabulous accessories, especially those stacked baskets. Have a great weekend!!

I love your berry basket ideas, Michelle. And love those wire basket things you put them in, too. Where did you get them? I’m definitely ready for sunflower season seeing your pictures! We’ve been picking black cap raspberries and red raspberries in our yard this week; love fresh summer berries!

I love your berry baskets; I prefer these old wooden ones to today’s plastic or green “egg carton” cardboard! It sure is a farmhouse look and so homey!
