Viking Repair Pro takes the top spot for prompt Viking service, since it books same day visits, sends Viking only technicians, and backs replacement parts for two years. Four more companies follow, each strong in a different city and a different kind of hurry.
Speed is where most of these companies live or die. The US appliance repair trade is worth $7.4 billion in 2026 after 2.5% growth this year, on IBISWorld’s figures, and almost all of that money is spent by people who wanted the problem gone yesterday. A Viking range is not a machine you can work around for a fortnight.
How We Built the List
We pulled 41 companies advertising Viking repair from Google Business Profile, Yelp, Angi, HomeAdvisor and the brand’s own service finder, then removed lead generation sites that pass jobs to whoever picks up, along with anyone who would not name a service area on their own pages. Five were left. The research was carried out in September 2026.
Each of the five was scored on five points:
- The fastest appointment the company itself advertises
- Whether Viking is the whole business or one brand among many
- Parts policy, meaning genuine parts stocked rather than ordered
- Warranty length on parts and on labour
- Whether a price or estimate is given before the visit
The Five at a Glance
Read this if you only have a minute, then jump to whichever one fits:
- Viking Repair Pro, best for a same day fix with a long parts warranty behind it
- Viking Appliance Repair Pros, best for an after hours emergency on the West Coast or in Denver
- NY Viking Services, best for apartment buildings across the five boroughs
- Viking Range Professionals, best for an older Viking range in the Los Angeles area
- Certified Refrigeration, best for New Jersey homes where the part needs to be on the truck
1. Viking Repair Pro, Best for a Same Day Fix With a Long Parts Warranty
Trading since 2005, this is a Viking only outfit, and the promise on the tin is Viking Repair Pro, licensed Viking appliance repair technicians arriving the same day rather than three days out. The team covers ranges in gas, electric and dual fuel, plus stoves, cooktops, ovens, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, wine coolers and ice makers.
Two things separate it on speed. Technicians are trained against Viking factory specifications rather than picking up the brand along the way, and the diagnosis ends in a flat rate estimate on the spot, so nobody is waiting on a quote by email. Parts are OEM and carry a two year warranty, which is the longest parts cover on this list from a Viking only specialist. The company lists 10,000 completed repairs and a 4.9 out of 5 average from more than 2,000 customers, and currently runs $25 off a first repair.
Best for: a Viking range or built in fridge that needs fixing today, with parts cover that outlasts the visit by a long way.
The honest limits: the service map runs to eight metro areas, Longmont, Las Vegas, Newport Beach, Glendale, Gresham, Chula Vista, Daly City and Ventura, so a good chunk of the country falls outside it and you will need to ring and check the neighbouring towns. Viking only also means a second call for the non Viking dishwasher next to it. The rating figures are published by the company rather than by an independent platform, so read them as a claim and not an audit.
2. Viking Appliance Repair Pros, Best for an After Hours Emergency
Twelve years in and running from Seattle, San Jose and Centennial in the Denver metro, Viking Appliance Repair Pros, expert Viking appliance repair services are the ones to ring when a Viking fails outside office hours. The company advertises round the clock availability for emergencies and same day attendance in those situations, which is rarer in this trade than the marketing makes it sound.
Coverage runs across ranges, ovens, refrigerators, wine coolers, ice makers, cooktops, stoves, freezers and dishwashers. Quotes are given up front, workmanship is guaranteed, and the technicians work the Viking brand daily rather than occasionally. Published figures put the company at 15,000 clients and 17,000 completed projects.
Best for: the Friday night failure in Seattle, San Jose or Denver where waiting until Monday is not an option.
Three cities is a narrow footprint, and the site does not publish warranty terms, so ask what is covered and for how long before the technician starts. The round the clock promise is framed around emergencies, so a routine service call will still land in normal hours.
3. NY Viking Services, Best for New York Apartment Buildings
Based at 447 Broadway in Manhattan and claiming more than 25 years of Viking work, NY Viking Services covers all five boroughs and advertises 24/7 availability with same day repair. The range of appliances is wide for a brand specialist, taking in refrigerators, freezers, ranges, stoves, cooktops, double and wall ovens, microwaves, range hoods, wine coolers, dishwashers, warming drawers and outdoor units.
Repairs come with a six month complimentary warranty and genuine Viking parts.
Best for: city apartments where service lifts, building access and tight kitchens complicate every job.
Six months is shorter cover than several companies here offer, and the claim to be the city’s highest rated Viking provider is the company’s own wording rather than a third party ranking.
4. Viking Range Professionals, Best for an Older Viking Range in Los Angeles
Operating since 1996, this Los Angeles team reaches Beverly Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica and Pasadena, out through Ventura County and Santa Barbara, and down to Newport Beach, Laguna Niguel and Dana Point. Technicians are factory authorized and factory trained by Viking, vans are stocked, parts are OEM, and same day service is advertised alongside an on time arrival commitment.
The company also sells annual maintenance plans, which suits a range that has been in the family kitchen for fifteen years and is starting to show it.
Best for: a long owned Viking range or hood in the LA basin that needs regular attention rather than one heroic repair.
Repairs carry a 90 day warranty, and the phones run Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm with no published weekend line, so a Saturday breakdown will sit until Monday.
5. Certified Refrigeration, Best for New Jersey Homes That Need the Part on the Truck
Certified Refrigeration LLC started in the 1990s on Sub-Zero work and added Viking after customers kept asking. It covers New Jersey, works on Viking ranges, wall ovens, rangetops, cooktops and microwaves, and puts its money into inventory, claiming the largest Viking parts stock in the state carried on its own service trucks.
Best for: New Jersey homeowners who would rather the job finish on the first visit than start on it.
This is a small team by its own description, so the calendar fills. Refrigeration is the heartland rather than the full Viking catalogue, and hours are not published, so book early in the week where you can.
What Actually Decides How Fast You Get Fixed
Prompt service is less about the promise on the homepage and more about four things you can check in one phone call.
- Ask whether the likely part is on the van today, since a same day visit that ends in a parts order is not a same day repair
- Ask how far your address sits from the company’s nearest base, as the travel leg decides the arrival window
- Ask whether the estimate is flat rate or hourly, since flat rate removes the argument at the end
- Ask what the labour warranty is, not only the parts warranty, as those two numbers are often very different
The Short Answer
If the appliance is Viking and the clock is running, Viking Repair Pro is the first call across the eight metros it serves, with the two year parts warranty making it the safest bet once the technician leaves. Viking Appliance Repair Pros takes over when the failure happens at night in Seattle, San Jose or Denver. NY Viking Services suits city buildings, Viking Range Professionals suits older ranges around Los Angeles, and Certified Refrigeration suits New Jersey homes that want the job finished on the first visit. Match the company to your postcode and your deadline, and the wait shortens on its own.
